Commission painted for Cassandra M. Dalton's promotional campaign for her upcoming new book.
When I received the brief I knew this would have been a challenge, no characters, animals and enviroment as the main focus, far away from my comfort zone.
The goal was to convey an unsettling atmosphere, charged with tension even in its stillness. I also took the chance to work on brushwork and textures.
